Admission Requirements

Student candidate must be at least 18 years of or older with no criminal background.

Premier Academy will explain to student candidate that a background check from Arizona Department of Public Safety is a mandatory rule for all caregivers in the State of Arizona.

Our School Schedules

The school day shall run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday for the first and second week, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm Monday through Wednesday for the third week. For students enrolled in the caregiver training, students must complete 62 hours of instruction (refer to the training hours listed below). Premier Academy caregiver curriculum is based on a thirteen-day (13) day in-classroom environment. Training program outline are on pages 13 to 16.

Food Handler

Students are required to provide Premier Academy with a copy of their current food-handler's card from the county. Student's food-handler card must be active and not expire within thirty (30) days of enrollment or first day class commences.

Our Holidays

Premier Academy will be closed for company recognized holidays. Premier Academy recognizes the following holidays: New Years, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Classes will be arranged to include these holidays.

For a successful completion of Caregiver Training Program, student candidate must attend an in-person and in-class environment training. No distant learning is provided to students. Caregiver Training Program is fifty (50) hour classroom instructions and a sixteen (16) hour skills demonstration conducted at 17224 N 43rd Avenue, Suite 105, Glendale, AZ, 85308.

Tuition Plan

Effective June 24th, 2024, tuition for caregiver training course will be $550.00 this fee does not include:

  • CPR & First Aid
  • Fingerprinting clearance card
  • Food Handler On-Line Test
  • Final Testing Fee (D&S Diversified Technologies) ($65.00 per attempt)

Students are required to pay tuition fees in full before commencement day of class or upon enrollment. Premier Academy will allow students to pay $300.00 of tuition before first commencement day of class. The student will be responsible for the remaining balance of $250.00 before Premier Academy schedule the student to take the D&S Final Examination.

The total cost is $550.00 per candidate with textbooks and clinical supplies included. The cost is broken down as follows:
